i started off the day by treating myself to a delicious raspberry chocolate swirl cold coffee shaker from the coffee cafe in my office building. then my co-workers and i went to lunch at a great greek restaurant in the river market and sat out on the patio. a couple hours later i received a great surprise - matt had absolutely beautiful flowers sent to my work. and they smell great!
after work, matt was supposed to have some soccer games, but due to the storm they were canceled. regardless, i had made plans to go over to megan roback's house to hang out with some friends and to watch a video that our friend lauren bakian has created. the video was amazing and reminded me of how wonderful and awesome my friends are and how thankful i am to have each and every one of them.
it was a wonderful way to end my birthday and i can't wait to have many more birthdays just like this.
