the bike club

i've finally joined the bike club! matt got a road bike about 3 months ago and we decided it was time for me to get one too. our brother-in-law, scott, has a bike and so do our friends krista and brian kutter. matt really enjoys biking and i know i will too. this could be interesting thou because my bike has clip-in pedals and the chances of me falling and possibly hurting myself, or my pride, are very likely.

i've always considered myself a pretty athletic and coordinated person, but i tell ya, as the years add up, i keep finding myself to be more clumsy each day. example - i usually run into at least one thing each day. my favorite saying is, "ouch". really, i find myself using this word quite often throughout the day, which really shouldn't be normal for a person who considers themself to be "coordinated".

anyways, regardless of my decreasing coordination, i am really excited to start riding. my bike had to be ordered since like no store carries my size of bike (small, really small), so it will hopefully be ready to pick up sometime this weekend. once the bike arrives, i promise i'll post some pictures!
