Happy Halloween!

Sorry for the blogging hiatus.  No good excuses, so I won't even try to make one up.

Hope everyone enjoyed their Halloween!

Here are our masterpiece pumpkins...

And here were our costumes...

The original plan was to dress as Neo and Trinity from The Matrix, but after that fell apart around 10 pm the night before the party, this is what we came up with in about 10 minutes.  Safari Tour Guide and Cyclist.

Matt's costume needs no explaining.  But I'm still questioning whether it really counts as a costume if this is a normal everyday look for the person.  Mine was pieced together with items I actually own. 

Hiking boots - check
Beach hat pinned on both sides becomes a nice safari hat, so - check
Beanie Baby giraffe, alligator and leopard - check
Binoculars - check
Fannie pack - check

Not too bad if you ask me.  However, maybe we can get our act together and come up with something better next year.  Ah well!
