Manhattan bound

we took a little trip to Manhattan this weekend.  we helped move some furniture into Ryan's new house.  these green beauties finally left our family room...
they are very comfortable, but we are happy to see them leave.  they now have a new home in a fraternity out-of-house. dad tells us they will never be returning to Kansas City.  so long couches!

Neeko and Sophie were excited because they got to join the road trip.  however, Neeko decided to nap most the trip. his new favorite spot is the front console.
we stopped off at the Topeka rest stop on the Turnpike for lunch.  while the boys were in ordering the food, we were lucky enough to have a cattle truck park right next to us.  so lucky.  we even had the pleasure of watching one of the cows relieve itself.  even better.  and right before lunch.  yum.
here's mom, Neeko and Sophie while we were waiting.
here's Ryan standing in front of his new house.  some of you might recognize this house.  it's next door to the "barn" and the pink house. oh memories.  good luck with your junior year Ryan!

  1. 2 things.
    1) your dad is right, those couches should never be in a nice house again after frat boys get a hold of them!
    2) Neeko is SO cute resting on the center console.
Hope you had a good weekend.
