Randomness

This is what happens when you wait for weeks at a time to post on your blog.  Everything becomes a bit of randomness because you have too many updates to share and quite honestly just plain forget all you've done.  Such is life.

However, in an attempt to catch you all up to speed, here is a mis-mash of what we've been up to.

KSU Football Games
We still have our season tickets, so we were out in Manhattan a lot this Fall.  Can't believe they pulled that last game off.  I seriously pulled a muscle in my neck screaming so much.  Unbelievable.
NASCAR
Made it to my first NASCAR race, and it was a family affair.  We even tailgated.  Here's Cindy enjoying the beautiful weather.  She looks way too cute for NASCAR.  Just sayin'.
We had a really good time even thou the race was really quite boring.  The pre-race festivities were cool.  Here were some guys doing flips on their motorcycles.  Pure craziness.
New Hostas and Juniper Shrubs
We were given some new hostas from Matt's grandma, and in hopes of giving these babies a chance to survive, we had to put up some chicken wire.  You see, my sweet little Neeko loves to dig up freshly planted things, and I've had it with my poor hostas being dug up.  It's been an on-going battle, and I think we finally won.
We were also given some beautiful juniper shrubs from my mother-in-law.  She's re-doing her landscaping and didn't want these anymore, and I'm all about free give-aways, so they now reside in our back yard, next to our lovely golden pine tree....ok, let's be real, it's dead.  How sad.
Kitchen Cabinet Project
We're in the home stretch of painting our kitchen cabinets.  Have the bases and drawers done.  Just need to paint the fronts of all the doors and we're finished! Wahoo!  It's already looking so good!  Here are some really bad photos...
So, I know we've done a ton more than what I just talked about, like visiting the Louisburg Cider Mill, a wedding in Iowa, raked a ton of leaves, bachelorette parties, baptism, Halloween, a fun cooking class, and I could probably come up with a few more.  Fall time is always so busy and this one was no different.

Fridays have apparently turned into my posting day - have a happy one!
