Light Revealing

Hey Everyone!  Did you miss me?

So as promised way back when, here is the revealing of our new dining room light.  There wasn't anthing wrong with our current light, just not our taste and I had a Groupon that had to be used by the end of September.  The light is from Rensen House of Lights, and if you haven't been there, you should definitely stop by.  They have a great selection of just about everything in all different styles and designs.

We've had the new light up for several weeks now and love it.  It gives off such a beautiful, soft light.  Plus, my biggest complaint with the old light was how you could see into the top from the bedroom level.  The new light conceals the inside, so no more awkward peaking into a dirty light fixture.

It may not be everyone's favorite, but we both love it and I guess that's all that matters at the end of the day.  It defintely fits in more with our style and in my opinion, looks much cleaner and actually opens up the room.

It also ties in with the white trim and blinds, and soon enough, will fit in with the kitchen cabinets.  That's right folks, I'm about to embark on a painting-the-kitchen-cabinets extravaganza.  Am I crazy, yes.  But will it look better, totally.
