Have no idea who this is, but they sure are cute :)
Let me first say that until I met Matt and his family, I had no clue that people actually cut off the corn from the cob. I thought it was a "rule" that you had to eat it straight from the cob. So then I started thinking about all the reasons why I hadn't discovered this method, and why I don't use it even after learning about it. And then I really started thinking...I must not have enough to do if I'm pondering why I don't cut corn off the cob. But really, that's just a whole other issue I don't have time to think about :)So, here are a few reasons I came up with as to why I continue to eat the corn straight off the cob instead of taking a knife and getting my cut on:
- I'm just lazy.
- I come from a long-line of people that just followed the "rule".
- I also come from a long-line of people that apparently didn't think outside of the box.
- Matt's family are a bunch of geniuses.
- I'm too stuck in my corn-eating habits to switch it up and cut it off.
So my question to all of you is, are you a eat-it-right-off-the-cob type of person, or a cut it off and not pick-it-out-of-your-teeth type of person?
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Praying for those in Reading, KS, and Joplin, MO, today.

Oh, I'm a eat-it-off-the-cob type person for sure!
ReplyDeleteLook at it this way... you can either spend time cutting the corn off the cob, or flossing your teeth (which you have to do anyways before bed). Really, our way is better :)
You're so funny! Phil always cut mine off the cob when I had braces-the good ol' days! I finally learned to do it myself, and will never go back! Hehe :)
