Speaking of Women's Health

I attended a women's conference on Saturday at the Overland Park Convention Center.  It was called Speaking of Women's Health and it was put on by Shawnee Mission Heart & Vascular Center.

Be Strong.
Be Healthy.
Be in Charge.

It was all about taking care of yourself both inside and out.  The day consisted of breakfast, speakers, breakout sessions of your choice, lunch, and more free stuff than you could imagine.  Plus, there was a variety of booths you could visit for information and more free goodies.

There were 3 main speakers, and if the day had consisted of nothing other than hearing these 3 amazing people speak, then the day would have still been completely worth it in my mind.  They were very well-spoken, hilarious, intelligent and inspirational.

All-in-all, a great day, with great people, learning how to better my life as a women.  This is definitely an event I would recommend!
