Fall Love

I love the Fall.  I love it for many reasons, but I also love it because that means the oppressive heat is finally coming to an end for another year.  Don't get me wrong, I love the summer too, but there always comes a weekend where I decide that I've had enough.  I think this weekend did it for me.  After being outside for a lot of the weekend, I've decided I'm ready for the nice cool weather of Fall.

I love the smells...pumpkin spiced candles, leaves burning, fires and tailgates.  I love jackets and light scarves.  I love jeans and boots.  I love really being able to enjoy a warm cup of coffee in the mornings.  I love walking my dogs in the brisk evenings.  I love pumpkins and football.

We're getting a jump start on the Fall, because this weekend we leave for Estes Park, Colorado, with Matt's family.  We're really looking forward to hiking, reading, eating and relaxing.  Especially since this is all taking place in nice, cool weather.  What a way to end the summer and kick off the Fall!
