Birthday Dogs!

Happy 3rd Birthday to Neeko! And Happy 2nd Birthday to Sophie!

My how time flies.  I can't believe how old my puppies are getting.  It feels like just yesterday when we brought each of them home and I can still remember how tiny they were.  Here are a couple pictures to walk us down memory lane...

However, as many of you know, I'm not a huge fan of puppies.  Well, let me re-phrase that.  I love puppies.  As long as they aren't mine and they aren't in my house.  If you've ever had a puppy then I'm sure you know where I'm coming from, and if you haven't, then you probably just think I'm crazy and heartless.  But this really isn't the case.  I just get annoyed very quickly and puppies require some a lot of patience.  This is something I have been working on, especially if I ever want children someday.  I thank my father for my lack of patience :)

We always "celebrate" the dogs birthdays, which just means we give them a special treat and a little present.  I made some doggie ice cream, which they both thought was yummy.  I only assume this since they devoured it.

We decided to get them new collars for their presents.  Their old collars were getting a little tattered, plus, after wearing camo for the last couple years, they really needed a pop of color.  They also got new tags. Yippee.  So exciting :)
