Big Step

I promise, I promise that an update post is coming very soon with everything that has happened in our lives since I last made an appearance on our blog. Let's just say that life has been a little overwhelming and been a big whirlwind lately. 

In the meantime, I thought I would share some exciting news with you all.  No, we're not pregnant.  Chuckle, chuckle.  As I'm sure that's what most of you were thinking or wanting me to announce when you first read that sentence.  But the news is that for the first time, we have left Neeko and Sophie out of their kennels to roam free in our house while we're at work today.

You have no idea how big of a step this is for us.  Not that I don't trust my dogs, well maybe I have a few trust issues with Miss Sophie and her chewing habits, but it's more that I have a fear of coming home to a major disaster.  I truly dislike having my things ruined.  I know, I need to get over this if I ever want to have children.  I'll deal with it when the times comes.

But Neeko and Sophie have more than proven they're ready and can be trusted, so it was all about biting the bullet and taking the next step.  Keep your fingers crossed that I don't come home to something like this below and regret our decision!
