neeko and sophie

Oh where do I begin. Well, first off, neeko and sophie are our dogs for those of you who do not know, or don't remember. Matt just had to have a dog (while he was still in college I might add), so Neeko arrived in our lives around Thanksgiving in 2007 and exactly a year later Miss Sophie arrived. Neeko badly needed a play buddy and getting Sophie was the best decision we have ever made.

They are both miniture schnauzers, and that's about where the similarities end.

Neeko is a boy, has black hair, is extremely curious, thinks he is an awesome guard dog, is very finicky, loves to watch people cook, hates to get dirty, doesn't like his head to be touched, is not a morning dog, and is secretly very sweet and loving. His nickname is Neeko the Freako.

Sophie is our girl, is white, very loving, likes to snuggle, needs lots of attention and gets jealous easily, never begs for food, loves to get dirty, has the highest bark/scream EVER, and could play with her soccer ball all day long. Her nickname is the Soph Monster.

Even with all of their weird tendencies and behaviors, we love these dogs more than words can explain, and I couldn't imagine life without them. They may drive us crazy, but they are the best company in the world and make me laugh everyday.
